Light floods in through the elegant, extra tall windows which are wisely left undressed in this well-thought-out open-plan living and dining area. There are many clever features within the room which are not obvious at first sight - textures, for instance, are at play with the large deep brown, leather sofa, colourful striped wool rug, smooth crisp white walls, natural wood and intricately designed art which draws you into the detail of the room.

The rug also clearly demarcates the transition between the dining and living areas, and even its directional stripes work in harmony with those on the retro-style radiator and the long windows.
