I visited the Ashridge Estate on the Buckinghamshire/Hertfordshire border this month and was totally taken aback at the amazing bluebells. You may just about catch them this week if you are quick, but if not, I hope you enjoy my photos below.
A fine and subtle spirit dwells
In every little flower,
Each one its own sweet feeling breathes
With more or less of power.
There is a silent eloquence
In every wild bluebell
That fills my softened heart with bliss
That words could never tell.
